The NXT Universe has grown accustomed to seeing SCRYPTS interfere in matches on behalf of Bronco Nima and Lucien Price, but the roles were reversed when SCRYPTS battled the crafty Javier Bernal.

Bernal, who received a right fist to the jaw from Price in the middle of the match, seemed to have the NXT Arena on his side for a change, especially when he blitzed his opponent with a series of heavy strikes before taking him down with a ring-rattling bulldog.

Never one concerned with playing by the rules in his own right, Big Body Javi almost scored the win with his feet on the ropes, but Nima knocked them off. Seconds later, SCRYPTS floated through the air and connected with a handspring cutter for the three-count.

Healed from a torn ACL and competing in her first match since January, Amari Miller received a warm ovation from the NXT Universe when she stepped back into the ring with frenemy Valentina Feroz, a fellow athletic Superstar with whom Feroz has shared a spirited yet respectful rivalry since both debuted about three years ago.

While being showered with “welcome back” chants, Miller sent Feroz crashing to the canvas with a back elbow and a forearm strike before following up with a kick to the face.

Feroz, who regained the upper hand by yanking at Miller’s knee brace, soon sailed through the air to connect with a Meteora and hooked both legs to clinch the win.

Despite the NXT Tag Team Titles not being on the line, Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo competed as if they were against the dangerous duo of Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey of the No Quarter Catch Crew.

Gulak and Dempsey took the fight righ to the champions as they looked to make a name for themselves in a loaded NXT tag team division, but The Family proved that they were the champions for a reason.

The mat technician skills of Gulak and Dempsey weren’t enough as the power from D’Angelo and the grit of Stacks allowed them to get themselves off of the mat, hit a Bada Bing Bada Boom, and walk out the victors.
